Every gesture it took to live out a day was like some kind of absurd gymnastic event I was too clumsy to perform. You can't imagine what it's like to feel ridiculous all the time. All I could do was watch people. I'd get stomach cramps. I couldn't sleep. Something wanted to jump out of me, but my body contained it. Trapped it.
